this exhibition was part of the spair space initiative set up by artists to show art when gallerys were not available
It was an exelent idea and still runs from time to time
the best part of setting up ur own exhibition in a spair space is you can invite the people you really want to be their and talk about what you want to talk about instead of going into artist autopilot and regerjatateing the same ansers to the same questions over and over
not that gallery exhibitions are like that...
they can be really fun

Here is the idea
A giant artwork is hung in a gallery..
Viewers of this artwork have the option to buy sections of the artwork.. the selected portions will be extracted and framed for the customer.
The act of taking away a part of the original peace results in two new artworks.. The selected which will be named “selected **” with the numerical value of when the peace was selected in the place of the ** and the rejected being the larger origin work.
The source work will be created from what is now a huge collection of my own rejected image fragments..

Iv been looking to start this one off for a little while and iv decided similarly to UIYO City the web comic should start with a bang
Uiyo city started with a workshop at Mid Pennine Arts
a team of 5 6 to 14 year olds created the first uiyo city which was later saturated with the input of literaly thousands of images.
this comic is going to start with a workshop where particapants should expect to see how the proces will work start to finish.
script righting, casting, stageing, photographing, inking and uploading. (all fun)

after literaly years of meaning to i have finaly becom a second life'r
its quite an odd experiance
its similare to a huge chat room with avatars (i think how it started) but one of the cool things i have been looking into is the use of a vertual gallery
second life similarely to menny mmo's alows a lot of people to come together as avaters but unlike say world of warcraft alows for the insertion of artwork vidioes and allsorts of cool things like that

I am looking to initiate within the Burnley Wood area of Burnely a project.
This project would transfer to other areas of the northwest yet Burnley Wood is of grater interest to me as it is the area I grew up in.
The project aims to enhance the area of within Burnley Wood currently occupied with boarded up houses, raising its profile by using the boarded up areas as an exhibition space.
