Painting on reclaimed canvas, this canvas was bought about 10 years ago for a portrait I was never paid for. The portrait was later re painted on with a self portrait used as a test canvass for some spray paint work and then used by about 50 kids in the workshops I teach as a mass participatory artwork to do if they had finished the set work. With all this in mind I couldn’t totally write out its history. The image which sits onto of this history has colour in it and is a lot less intense when it comes to filling space with information.
