This is a quick sketch I did in class when my help as learning support wasn’t needed.

I thought it would be a good idea to explain a basic technique for producing a semi photorealistic outcome using standard graphite pencils.

This image is of Sam the technician though i am considering splintering this image off into a separate exhibition to propose illustrating and annotating images of pub/coffee house regulars..

I know pubs and coffee houses aren’t quite the same as galleries and designated high art areas.. But then again never is the internet and the internet does me fine..

I think coffee houses and bars open new potentials for art debate.. art being on the terms of the viewer not the viewer being on the terms of the art..
